The eBox-II is a compact and computing device designed for applications where physical space is limited. It was initially released in 2002 and has been discontinued in 2005.
The eBox-II was selected as the hardware platform for the Windows Embedded Student Challenge competition and was adopted by a number of academic institutions to teach embedded system related courses.
The support resources on this link are provided to support academic institutions and hobbyist developers still using this device. These resources are provided as a convenience and will not be maintained.
The eBox-3310A is the hardware platform replacing the eBox-II to support the Windows Embedded CE 6.0 and Windows Embedded Compact 7 academic curriculum from Microsoft.
