The eBox-4300 is a compact and computing device designed for applications where physical space is limited. It can be mounted on any VESA standard fixture allowing it to be secured to desks and other surfaces.
The eBox-4300 was selected as the hardware platform for the Windows Embedded Student Challenge competition and is adopted by a number of academic institutions, as the reference hardware, to teach embedded system related courses.

The eBox-3310A is the hardware platform, released in 2010, is replacing the eBox-4300 as the hardware platform to support academic curriculum from Microsoft.
